Palmexor is written for the phone most guides quietly assume you do not have: a few years old, short on storage, quick to warm up. Match-three runs beautifully on hardware like that when it is set up properly and badly when it is not, and almost nobody writes about the difference — which is how a site about board geometry ended up also being a site about settings menus.

Joshua Roy writes it, in Winnipeg, on his own. No team, no testers, no plan to expand into a network of sites.

Reasons people write, in rough order of frequency

• A setting named in the guide has moved or been renamed in a newer version of an app.
• A correction of any size — a stale figure, a term used loosely, a link that has died.
• An order for the Old Phone Field Guide, or a question about one already placed.
• A question about whether a particular handset will cope, which usually has a short answer.
• A privacy request under PIPEDA: access, correction, withdrawal of consent, deletion of correspondence.
• A copyright or trade mark concern, handled as described in the Third-Party Disclaimer.

How quickly you will hear back

Usually a couple of business days, from the person who wrote the pages. Messages arriving over a weekend or a Manitoba statutory holiday are picked up on the next working day, so something sent late on Friday is normally answered Monday or Tuesday. A week of silence means the message did not arrive; send it again.

What cannot be dealt with here

Payments, refunds, account problems and crashes belong with the store and the developer. This site cannot escalate anything into either of them, and it would be misleading to pretend otherwise. Their support channels are the only route, and using them first saves days.
